GFDD/FUNGLODE signed agreement with the Canadian Foundation for the Americas, FOCAL
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, March 22, 2006.
On March 16, 2006, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD),
and its sister organization in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global
Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), signed a 5-year agreement on technical
cooperation, diplomatic and international matters, and professional
trainings and research projects, with the Canadian Foundation for the
Americas, FOCAL.
The agreement, aimed to improve cooperation in the Canada-Dominican Republic
and Latin America political, social and economic relations, was signed in
Santo Domingo by Frederic Emam-Zadé, General Director of FUNGLODE, Natasha
Despotovic, Executive Director of GFDD, and John Graham, President of FOCAL.
