GFDD/FUNGLODE and UNA-DR celebrated NYDRMUN 2006
New York, United States, May 24-28, 2006

The United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR), in collaboration with Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the UN, and Pace University, celebrated the New York-Dominican Republic Model of the United Nations 2006, at UN Headquarters and Pace University in New York City, on May 24-28, 2006. The event was part of the World Class Pace Model United Nations initiative.

The NYDRMUN 2006 gathered more than 600 students from schools, colleges and universities from the United States, Dominican Republic and other Latin American countries, who debated current global issues in the UN context.
