First National Contest for Young Entrepreneurs

 The United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR), Global Foundation for Democracy and Development/ Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo, the Ministry of Youth of the Dominican Republic, the Corporation for Industrial Promotion (CFI for it’s name in Spanish), are launching the first National Contest for Young Entrepreneurs, CONJE 2006 (for it’s name in Spanish). |

CONJE 2006 is aimed for people between the ages 18-35 with entrepreneur spirit. The main objective consists on promoting the Dominican youth by implementing the winning projects with financial resources in the form of capital for these projects to be developed. |

Some of the other partners in this initiative are the Center for Export and Investment in the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD), the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA), the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), among others.
