The Young Americas Business Trust make a presentation at FUNGLODE/GFDD

Natasha Despotovich, Executive Director of GFDD, introduced Roy Thomasson, Chief Executive Director of the Young Americas Business Trust who made a presentation at FUNGLODE on November 8, 2004. Since its foundation in 1999, YABT is dedicated to create a new generation of business leaders by providing training and resources to young entrepreneurs that will be successful in business as well as responsible citizens, committed to the social and economic development of their countries. YABT does so by connecting these young entrepreneurs with organizations and projects of similar purpose throughout the Hemisphere. Its goal is to encourage the creation of business incubators and facilitate the creation of business alliances |
among organizations all over the continent. YABT also provides in person and virtual training and serves as a platform for communication among the different organizations and networks in the field. YABT collaborates and receives economic support from the World Bank, the IDB, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and a series of U.S. and Latin American universities and foundations. |
