NGO Employees Received Course Completion Certificates
New York. January 27, 2007.

79 Employees from various Non Governmental Organizations (NGO's) received their participation certificates for the satisfactory completion in the Introduction to Computer Courses that took place with the sponsorship of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development/ Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo.
These courses were developed by NGO Alliance with the collaboration of the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA for its name in Spanish) and GFDD/ FUNGLODE. The Director of the Technological Institute of the Americas, Jose Armando Tavarez, thanked GFDD/ FUNGLODE and the NGO Alliance for their initiatives and expressed that Information Technology can be a wonderful way to increment productivity in the workplace.
During the Award Ceremony there was also a conference titled "Practical Uses of Communication and Information Technolgy: Voice over IP", offered by Mitsuteru Nishio. Mr. Nishio is the Data and Internet Director of Cenetennial Dominicana.
They are part of GFDD/ FUNGLODE's initiative to promote the use of information technology in various sectors, as is the case of the non lucrative organizations in the Dominican Republic.
The certificate ceremony took place in FUNGLODE's headquarters on January 25th, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.
