Virtual Educa Caribbean 2007
Santo Domingo. March 8th, 2007.

Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) are the host of the second edition of Virtual Educa Caribe. This year’s events will be based on the “Capacity, Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Sustainable Development” topics.

Innovation as a transforming tool in education and training as an essential elemnt in the economic and social development of country will be the main topics in the forum that will take place march 20th – 21st in the FUNGLODE headquarters in Santo Domingo.

This event is aimed at public and private academic institutions, and will bring together hundreds of specialist and educators from around the world, that will also broaden on topics such as Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development of a nation.

This forum is a yearly event of Virtual Educa, a program that forms part of the Iberoamerican Heads of State Summit, which has the purpose of bringing innovative initiatives in the education, professional training and constant formation area to developing countries.

The forum will begin with the formal inauguration Monday march 19th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. The first conference will be dictated by José Maria Antón, Secretary General of Virtual Educa, with headquarters in Madrid, Spain.
