Seventh Introductory Computer Course Global Foundation for Democracy and Development/ Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo, in collaboration with the NGO Alliance and the Technological Institute of the Americas, are offering a new course on introductory computer usage to non-governmental organizations. This is the seventh intensive course offered by GFDD/FUNGLODE on basic computer functions. Materials for this course will focus on the functions of the Windows Operating Systems (MS Office, Internet, etc.). The class will begin April 23rd, 2007 and will run until May 1st, 2007. The course will consist of 40 hours of instruction with professors will be from the Technological Institute of the Americas. The course will take place at FUNGLODE headquarters in Santo Domingo, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. This event is part of GFDD/ FUNGLODE's initiative to promote the use of information technology in all sectors of the Dominican Republic.
