TRAINING ON NEGOTIATION SKILLS AT FUNGLODE
Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo has facilitated a series of training curses on negotiation techniques led by George Washington University Professor, Hildy Teegen, in January 27, 28, 31 and February 1 and 24.
| These curses fall under the program of training activities of FUNGLODE. Participants had the opportunity to know, manage and experiment with negotiation techniques used in the world of business in the public sector, both domestically as internationally, using role plays and simulations in planning a negotiation, the development of |

negotiation strategies, identification of individual negotiation styles, and competition and cooperation. In brief, all the tools and instruments required to lead a constructive negotiation that will yield outcomes satisfactory to all those involved in the negotiation.
Representatives from the free trade zones, public and private sector, local industrial associations, Diplomatic School students, and NGOs have participated in the sessions, which have awaken further demand among other groups and associations. This training is an extremely valuable resource to anybody in a managerial position both, domestically or international and particularly to those involved in the management of international agreements and treaties. FUNGLODE will continue providing this training to other groups and associations in the coming weeks.

Hildy Teegen has a doctorate in International Business with specialization
in Marketing Strategy and Economic Development from the University of Texas
at Austin . She teaches MBA-level courses on Strategy, Negotiation, and the
Multinational Enterprise within the World Economy, a doctoral seminar on
Interfirm Collaboration and an undergraduate course on Foreign Market
Analysis at the George Washington University in Washington DC .
She has served on faculties in Mexico , Portugal and the U.S.
