Through the program "Partners in Learning", FUNGLODE and the Microsoft Corporation gave 100 scholarships to teachers for computer program courses.
| The scholarships were given to the first 100 teachers who obtained a computer at the II Compumaestro Festival, which took place from March 30th to April 3rd. |  |

The US$100.00 scholarship is also part of the Secretary of Education's efforts to improve the educational system in the Dominican Republic . The course includes training on Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint and will be dictated in universities in Santiago , a city in the Dominican Republic .
This program is also part of the agreement between FUNGLODE and Microsoft to participate in the "Partners in Learning Program".
