The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development has established a cooperation agreement with Microsoft through its education program Partners in Learning. Partners in Learning is a long-term commitment from Microsoft to work with governments, local NGOs, schools, teachers and partners to establish a sustainable foundation for continued advances in education and learning with the use of technology as a tool in the classroom.
The association of the GFDD with Microsoft's Partners in Learning (PIL) is part of the broader effort to develop the Global Foundation's Working Group for the Application of Information and Communications Technology in Education.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is a global leader in the fight against illicit drugs and international crime. UNODC is mandated to assist Member States in their struggle against illicit drugs, crime and terrorism. In its continuous effort to fight illegal drugs and crime, FUNGLODE has also been admitted to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) aims at the development-friendly integration of developing countries into the world economy. FUNGLODE's association with this organization will bring about a chance to discuss trade development issues and share the Dominican experience with other participants at UNCTAD's forum for intergovernmental discussions and deliberations in Geneva. NGOs with Consultative Status have the privilege to be the only institutions in civil society to address the Governments in the Institution.

The Global Compact consists of several hundred companies, dozens of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), major international labor federations and several UN agencies seeking to collaboratively contribute to a more stable, equitable and inclusive global market by making its nine principles an integral part of business activities everywhere. As member of the Global Compact, FUNGLODE is committed to create a network of Dominican business and NGOs in support of the Compact and its universal principles regarding social business responsibility.

The UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is responsible for promoting higher standards of living, full employment, and economic and social progress; identifying solutions to international economic, social and health problems; facilitating international cultural and educational cooperation; and encouraging universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. FUNGLODE's affiliation received the approval of 54 countries for its ability and ample experience and dedication to research and discuss global issues that involve the well-being of Dominicans and the sustainable development of the country.

The UN Department of Public Information (DPI) recognized FUNGLODE as an organization committed to the promotion and dissemination of information on UN activities programs. As a DPI associated organization, FUNGLODE will receive all the information, publications and other materials for use at the library of the Foundation in Santo Domingo.

The University of Turabo wants to provide students with an ample academic base that will facilitate the development of their capabilities to improve their lives and those of the community and the Puerto Rican society at large. With an ever-growing number of Master programs in different aspects of education, business administration, engineering, the University of Turabo wants to train students to understand the challenges of contemporary Puerto Rico and to provide them with the necessary tools to bring about change and improvement. Universidad of Turabo signed a collaborative agreement with FUNGLODE/GFDD and Université Quisqueya of Haiti to establish the International Center for Environmental and Sustainable Development Studies, ICESDeS, in September 2004.

The Earth Institute at Columbia University brings together talent from throughout the University to address complex issues facing the planet and its inhabitants, with particular focus on sustainable development and the needs of the world's poor. The Earth Institute is motivated by the belief that science and technological tools already exist, and could be expanded, to greatly improve conditions for the world's poor while preserving the natural systems that support life on Earth. FGDD/GFDD has an agreement of cooperation with the Institute to work on the UN Millennium Development Goals.

From its beginnings in a schoolhouse in lower Manhattan, Columbia University has grown to encompass two principal campuses: the historic, neoclassical campus in the Morningside Heights neighborhood and the modern Medical Center further uptown, in Washington Heights. Today, Columbia is one of the top academic and research institutions in the world, conducting pathbreaking research in medicine, science, the arts, and the humanities. It includes three undergraduate schools, thirteen graduate and professional schools, and a school of continuing education. FGDD/GFDD has an agreement of cooperation with Columbia University to work on economic development.

The Inter-American Distance Education Consortium, CREAD (Consorcio-Red de Educación a Distancia,) is a not-for-profit consortium of individuals and institutions throughout the Americas which promotes the use of educational technology and distance education to increase educational possibilities through international and inter-institutional cooperation, resource sharing and partnerships. The Consortium is supported by its host institution, Nova Southeastern University , in South Florida .

The UN Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR) is a non governmental NGO whose mandate is to strengthen the participation of the Dominican people in the UN system. The activities coordinated by UNA-DR target equally the private and the public sector. The program with the biggest impact is the "Model UN" conferences. These conferences consist of interactive simulations of the commissions, committees, agencies and other programs of the UN a well as other regional and international institutions. The students who participate in the simulation act as representatives from the Member States of the particular organization and defend the position of the ambassadors of those countries, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe . UNA-DR is part of the World Federation of UN Associations (WFUNA) and its offices are in Santo Domingo and in New York .
