First National Young Entrepreneurs Contest Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) in collaboration with the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR), the Ministry of State for Youth (SEJ for it’s name in Spanish) and the Corporation for Industrial Promotion (CFI for it’s Spanish name) held the award ceremony for the First National Young Entrepreneurs Contest (CONJE 2006 for it’s name in Spanish).

INAP, GFDD and FUNGLODE launch International Meeting on Learning for Development. This morning, the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and its sister institution Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) initiated the Fourth Board of Directors Meeting for the Global Development Learning Network (GDLN).

Graciano Gaillard, Projects Manager for the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic’s Business and Entrepreneurial Training Program has been voted onto the Board of Directors for the Global Action Campaign for Youth Employment (known as YES). 
The United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR), the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and its sister institution Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) will take part in the Ninth Annual U.N. Student Conference on Human Rights on the 30th November and 1st December 2006.
