The School of the Future is a high school founded in the area of Fermon Park in West Philadelphia and its main objective is to embody innovation and technology. This initiative is an effort of Microsoft and the School District of Philadelphia, where 750-students of a high school level will be part of an innovative learning system where the main component is the student, not the teacher.

GFDD/ FUNGLODE’s Global Media Arts Institute will host a conference titled “National Film: Shared funds; diversity and co-production in the audiovisual market”. This conference will take place February 9th, 2007 in the FUNGLODE headquarters in Santo Domingo and is in collaboration with the Cuban International Film and Television School (EICTV for its name in Spanish).
