GFDD and FUNGLODE Offer Course on Digital Narrative

GFDD and FUNGLODE will begin offering the course "Digital Narrative" to 20 teachers with the objective of training them in the necessary elements to create short narrative stories utilizing multimedia tools, such as videos, images and music. The computer program that will be used to teach this course will be Microsoft Movie Maker II, included in Microsoft Windows XP.

It is expected that the skills teachers will obtain from
this course will be applied to teach students how to create innovative grammatical compositions and stimulate their creativity through the use of technology.

The course will have three major areas of focus: a) pedagogic impact of digital narrative; b) methodology to teach the development of innovative narrative; and, c) the incorporation of technology through multimedia resources to create narrative stories. At the end of the course, each teacher will
develop his/her own project.

This initiative is part of the agreement between GFDD and FUNGLODE and Microsoft to promote the Partners in Learning Program.
