October 31, 2008

The internship program, InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will participate in the “Summer Opportunities Fair” at Harvard University on December 12, 2008.

InteRDom will have a stand
at the fair where students will be able to familiarize themselves with the internship opportunities available, and to learn about the Dominican organizations affiliated with the program.  The InteRDom team will also be present to answer any student questions.

At this time, Harvard Students will get a first look at InteRDom’s new internships in the fields of journalism, human resources, agriculture and business.

In addition, InteRDom
team members will be arriving at Harvard a day in advance, on Thursday, December 11, and will be available for appointments with interested students and faculty that afternoon.

To make an appointment in advance email: students@interdominternships.org

During the event, InteRDom will receive resumes and proposals for the May-August 2009 Semester from students interested in developing
projects or theses related to the areas in which InteRDom offers internship opportunities.

InteRDom offers students the opportunity to gain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and businesses related to their field of study.  The program significantly contributes to the development of the nation’s employment sector and the advancement of academic research.
