The Dominican Film Showcase Celebrates the Presentation of “Colao 2”

April 18, 2024, New York, NY – The long-awaited Dominican Film Showcase event opened with an exciting surprise: the exclusive presentation of “Colao 2”, the sequel to the acclaimed Dominican film. The audience enjoyed this long-awaited film sequel on a night full of excitement and enthusiasm.

Present during the event were the key representatives of the community, including parents and their children. The overall atmosphere was full of laughter, fun, food, and, in general, an event enjoyed by all those present. Ambassador Juan Ávila, who moderated the event, was accompanied during the opening event by Gustavo Aparicio, Executive Director of Spanglish Movies, and Kendy Yanoreth, producer and cinematographer. This team is undoubtedly one of the most prominent in the Dominican cinematographic industry.

During the opening session, the Executive Director of the Global Foundation, Mr. Rudy Fuertes, delivered the welcoming remarks. He was joined by Paul Goris and Manuel Medrano, who coordinated the event on behalf of the Foundation.
