Wishing Our Extended Family of Friends and Supporters Glad Tidings for a Glorious Holiday Season Filled with Peace, Love, Joy and Prosperity

On Wednesday, December 11, 2013, the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) hosted its first Holiday Cocktail Party at the new office headquarters, centrally located in downtown, Washington, DC. The staff of GFDD was honored to have more than 60 guests, including prominent and distinguished members from international organizations, the diplomatic corp, and collaborators.

Participants had the opportunity to enjoy GFDD’s new facilities, while having a chance to learn more about our successful programs and events carried out during the 2013 year and upcoming projects for the foundation. Executive Director of GFDD, Natasha Despotovic welcomed all present to the first Holiday Cocktail Party and thanked them for their continuous collaboration and cooperation
on various projects.

This gathering allowed participants the opportunity to share their professional experiences with others, whilst socializing in a festive atmosphere. The Party also provided a perfect occasion to inspire new project ideas with like-minded organizations and individuals dedicated to the promotion of education, culture and environmental awareness both in the DR and abroad.

As a parting gift, and memorable keepsake, guests were presented
with souvenirs and chocolates from the Dominican Republic. The Global Foundation looks forward to building upon and solidifying these partnerships in 2014.
