FUNGLODE, GFDD and CTN Sign Agreement to Transmit Foundation Activities

The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (FUNGLODE) and its US office GFDD signed an agreement with the network channel Caribbean Traveling Network Dominicana (CTN). This agreement aims at transmitting the conferences, meetings and other activities undertaken by the Foundation as part of its mandate for training, research and knowledge
dissemination.
 


The agreement was signed on Wednesday March 2nd by Frederic Eman-Zadé, FUNGLODE’s General Director, Natasha Despotovic, Executive Director for GFDD
and Miguel A. Calzada León, CTN President. Through this agreement, CTN will be the permanent transmitter of FUNGLODE’s events and activities. The transmission of FUNGLODE’s activities will be scheduled through Channel 30 of National Telecable and will be transmitted Mondays from 9pm to 10pm, with a replay on Thursdays from 11 pm to 12 pm. Also the program will transmitted via Direct TV to viewers in Miami and Puerto Rico .

Mr. Eman-Zadé highlighted the transcendence of this agreement which will improve the dissemination of FUNGLODE’s activities, which principally aim at raising the level of debate in the country.

Mr. Calzada León commented also on his satisfaction for contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and information in the Dominican Republic.
