InteRDom Announces Start of Spring Semester Enrollment

The internship program, InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), announces the start of the Spring Semester (January 5 – April 24, 2009)
enrollment period, August 1, 2008. The deadline to submit applications is November 7, 2008.

 
Through the InteRDom Program, undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to take a wide array of academic courses in Spanish at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). Students have the option of registering for
course offerings in the following disciplines: Art, Business, Communications, Education, Engineering, Environmental Studies, History, Information and Communication Technologies, Law, Medicine and Psychology.
 
Each semester, InteRDom offers specialized courses tailored to InteRDom students on Dominican History and Culture and
Spanish as a Foreign Language.

 During Fall and Spring Semesters, InteRDom students have the ability to take classes with Dominican students. This presents an excellent opportunity for students to further their studies within a Spanish-speaking context, permitting accelerated growth in the area of language acquisition and
application.

Apply:
 
Applicants must possess a minimal GPA of 2.9, have completed 60% of their academic program, and have taken 3 university-level Spanish courses.
