About this Roundtable

Topic: This session with Mr. Bowermaster will be focused on fracking, the topic of his latest feature film. The movie, entitled ‘Dear Governor Cuomo’ is a concert protest film aimed at influencing New York State’s decision to ban fracking or adopt it. Nearly all natural gas extraction today involves a technique called hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, in which dangerous chemicals are mixed with large quantities of water and sand and injected into wells at extremely high pressure. As a result of this dangerous technique, Fracking can cause significant air pollution and water pollution in the American states that allow it. | Read More >
