Dr. Leonel Fernández, President of GFDD and FUNGLODE, to Deliver Keynote Address at Sixteenth Annual CAF Conference in Washington DC, Hosted by the CAF Development Bank of Latin America, the OAS and the Inter-American Dialogue

On Wednesday, September 5, Dr. Leonel Fernández, President of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) and Former President of the Dominican Republic, will deliver the keynote address during the Sixteenth Annual CAF Conference, hosted by the CAF Development Bank of Latin America, the Organization of American States and the Inter-American
Dialogue.

The conference will take place at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington DC on September 5 from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm and on September 6 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

The Sixteenth Annual Conference will address a wide range of topics related to hemispheric affairs, including elections and political trends in Latin America, the implications of the US Presidential Elections on Latin America, Inter-American relations, violence, transnational
crime, drugs and the emergence of a new global South.

The agenda features an impressive list of diplomats, prominent economists and private sector pioneers, and will conclude with an address by Former President of the United States Jimmy Carter.
