GFDD Announces 2017 Golf Tournaments

July 14, 2017

The Global Foundation for Democracy & Development is proud to announce its 10th and 11th Golf Tournaments to be held on September 25th and November 13th in New York and Florida, respectively. This year’s tournaments will take participants to Long Island’s historic Glen Head Country Club and to the breathtaking views of Miami’s Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne. Don’t miss the chance to support the Dominican Republic and its U.S.
community by competing in these events!

Beginning at 11:00 a.m., the day’s festivities kick off with brunch and quality time perfecting your swing on the driving range. Then, at 12:30 p.m., the tournament begins in earnest with a ceremonial shotgun start. Make sure your game is in peak condition: awards will be given to the day’s best teams as well as its top precision shooters. A cocktail reception will follow the tournament, and after, awards
will be presented at a luxurious banquet.

Since 2010, GFDD Golf Tournaments have been a venue where high-ranking officials, industry leaders, business executives, and influential members of the Dominican community can get together to support development in the Dominican Republic and bring awareness of important issues. Past tournaments have received generous sponsorships from companies in all sectors.
