GFDD/Funglode to Host Panel Discussion on the Role of Civil Society in Promoting Awareness of the New UN Development Agenda

GFDD/Funglode will hold a panel discussion on the role of civil society in promoting awareness of the UN’s Post-2015 Development Agenda, the successor framework to the Millennium Development Goals, on Tuesday July 21 at 1:15PM.

The event will take place during the final two weeks (July 20-31) of the UN’s Post-2015 Agenda intergovernmental negotiations. These negotiations will seek to finalize the outcome document, to be adopted during
the UN Summit for the adoption of the Agenda for Development Post 2015 at the UN in September in New York.

GFDD/Funglode and UN Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR) will showcase examples of their involvement in these negotiations and highlight the work they have done both in the Dominican Republic and abroad to raise awareness about the new UN development agenda and sustainable development generally.
