Join Us for the 8th GFDD Golf Tournament on September 26th in New York!

Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (Funglode) are pleased to announce the 8th edition of its GFDD Golf Tournament that will take place, once again, at the prestigious Glen Head Country Club in Glen Head, New York on Monday, September 26th. As a tradition, former Major League Baseball Player and long-standing friend of GFDD, Mr. Juan Marichal, will be the Honorary Starter of the tournament. The event will
feature the attendance of special guests, as well as the presence of former President of the Dominican Republic and President of GFDD/Funglode, Dr. Leonel Fernández.

The Golf tournament, a “GFDD tradition to share time with partners and friends and promote fundraising in order to continue implementing a variety of projects geared toward the development of the Dominican Republic and Latin America” as explains GFDD Executive Director Natasha Despotovic,
has hosted during the years leading individuals from the philanthropic field and prominent sports figures, along with others who have supported GFDD’s programs and projects.

This event benefits GFDD/Funglode and its programs which support social,
economic, and democratic development and it also serves as a networking opportunity for high-ranking officials, industry leaders, business executives, and celebrities.
