NGO Committee on Financing for Development Announces Panel on “Financial Inclusion to Financial Stability”

The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), along with other important partners, announce the celebration of a panel this April 25 where participants can share the progress made in their respective countries and institutions on financial inclusion strategies designed to reduce income equality, alleviate poverty and shrink the gender gap.

The panel is scheduled to take place from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room A, United Nations Headquarters, in New York City.

The Financial Inclusion in the Sustainable Development Goals agenda include: poverty reduction, zero hunger, good health and wellbeing, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, industry innovation; and infrastructure and
reduction of inequalities, to mention some of the key goals.

Co-sponsoring organizations include VGIF (Virginia Gildersleeve International Fund); the Company f the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent DePaul (U.N. non-government organization); New Humanity; and the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary.
