Partners in Learning Offers an Intensive Training Session to Ministry of Education Personnel

Partners in Learning, a program coordinated by the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), Fundación Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), Microsoft, and the Dominican Ministry of Education, offered two training sessions, “Digital Narrative” and “Web Diagramation.” More than 35 teachers and professionals specialized in information technology-based learning participated in these sessions. Training sessions
took place April and May of 2007.

 

The objective of the training sessions was to equip participants with the skills necessary to train other educational professionals in website design. Each trainer is then responsible for providing similar training sessions to 20 teachers in his or her area.

 

GFDD and FUNGLODE support the Dominican Ministry of Education in its efforts to train
educators in information technology-based programs.
