President Fernández to Launch Newest Book at the Miami Book Fair

President of the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD/Funglode) and former President of the Dominican Republic, Dr. Leonel Fernández, will hold a book launch for his most recent work, “Años de avance. Escritos de Teoría y Acción” (unofficial translation: “Years of Progress. Writings on Theory and Action”) at the Miami Book Fair.

“Años de avance. Escritos de Teoría y Acción” offers a compilation of opinion articles and analysis written by the former President. Dr. Fernández will present the book on Saturday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m. on Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus.

The launch is part of the Miami Book Fair, an annual
event that takes place at Miami Dade College and features some of the world’s best authors, many of whom are from Latin America and the Caribbean. This year’s Fair is taking place between Sunday, November 11 and Sunday, November 18.
