The Miami International Film Festival, a well established international festival presenting documentaries, dramatic feature films, animation, shorts, retrospectives, etc competing under several categories, provided an excellent networking opportunity for the DRGFF team.
Founded in 1990, the Canadian Foundation for the Americas is an independent policy institute, based in Ottawa, that fosters informed analysis and debate on social, political and economic issues facing the Americas. We support a greater understanding of these issues in Canada and throughout the region. In March 2006 FOCAL and GFDD/FUNGLODE signed a 5-year agreement on technical cooperation, diplomatic and international matters, and professional trainings and research projects.
