  • GMAI Workshop on Adobe After Effects II

    The Global Media Arts Institute (GMAI), an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLDOE), presented the workshop, “Adobe After Effects II,” September 15-20, 2008 at FUNGLODE Headquarters in Santo Domingo.

  • GMAI Organizes Course “Digital Imaging Fundamentals”

    The Global Media Arts Institute (GMAI), an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), in collaboration with Daytona Beach College, today inaugurated the curse, “Digital Imaging Fundamentals.” The course will take place until next Thursday, September 19, 2008. Sessions will take place from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at FUNGLODE Headquarters in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

  • Conference with Director of the Film and Television Archive at UCLA, Jan Christopher Horak

    The Global Media Arts Institute (GMAI), an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), organized the conference, “Audiovisual Archives in the Modern World: Creation, Preservation and Historical Transcendence,” presented by Jan Christopher Horak, Director of the Film and Television Archive at the University of California, Los Angeles, September 4, 2008, at FUNGLODE Headquarters in Santo Domingo,
    Dominican Republic.

  • Conference and Workshop with Author and Screenwriter Tom Lutz

    On September 2 and 3, 2008, the Global Media Arts Institute (GMAI), an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), organized a conference and workshop on scriptwriting with Author, Screenwriter and Director of the MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for Performance at the University of California, Riverside, Dr. Tom Lutz.
