FUNGLODE and GFDD Participates in Educational Activities in Brazil
Lic. Yamile Eusebio, Director of Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE’s) Training Activities Program and Director of its sister organization the United States, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) participated in a series of meetings of the education sector, both in Curitiba and in Sao Paulo, Brazil, May 17 – 20, 2011.

GFDD and FUNGLODE to attend next OAS General Assembly in El Salvador advocating for International Coordination in Facing Citizen Insecurity
The Director of GFDD’s Washington DC office, Asun Sanz, will represent GFDD and FUNGLODE at the 41st OAS General Assembly to be held June 5 to 7, 2011, in San Salvador, with the theme of “Citizen Security in the Americas”.

Virtual Educa Mexico 2011
GFDD/FUNGLODE will be participating at the Virtual Educa which will be taking place in Mexico from June 20 – 24, 2011. Each year, VE organizes an annual “International meeting for innovation in Education and Training” gathering scholars, experts, representatives of corporations and civil society, among others, from America and Europe.

Open-air Photo Exhibit: New Perspectives: Dominican Republic to open at The City College of New York this Fall
Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and its sister organization in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) will host an open-air photo exhibit entitled New Perspectives: Dominican Republic, in collaboration with the CUNY Center for Dominican Studies Institute at The City College of New York, this coming Fall.
