DREFF and Cinemateca Dominicana to Screen Environmental Films at the 2018 Santo Domingo International Book Fair
The International Book Fair of Santo Domingo will be held April 19-30, 2018. As part of it, an interesting program of environmental short films and documentaries will be screened. This initiative is a collaboration of Global Foudnation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), its sister organization in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (Funglode) and the Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF), with Cinemateca Dominicana and the DR Film
Commission (Dirección General de Cine de la República Dominicana, DGCINE).

InteRDom Participated at New York Model United Nations Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean (NYMUNLAC 2018)
GFDD, along with its sister organization Funglode, headed the opening this past April 1th of the New York Model United Nations Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean (NYMUNLAC2018) organized by Global Muners and ANURD. The opening ceremony was held at the Grand Hotel Hyatt in New York City, with the participation of hundreds of students from all over the world.

More than 400 Students from all Over the World Participate in First Annual NYMUNLAC 2018
The Dominican Association of the United Nations (ANU-RD), jointly with the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (FUNGLODE), its sister organization the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), and the Mexican GlobalMuners civil association, formally opened the first annual New York Model United Nations Conference for Latin American and the Caribbean with the participation of more than 300 young students from the Dominican Republic and some 100 peers from
other Latin American nations.
