On April 8-9, the former president of the Dominican Republic and honorary president of sister non-profits GFDD and FUNGLODE, Leonel Fernández, visited Yale University as a Spring Chubb Fellowship Recipient 2013. The Chubb Fellowship is one of the highest honors accorded to a visiting speaker.

GFDD and FUNGLODE are honored to announce the second revised edition of the New Perspectives: Dominican Republic photo book. The new edition, which came out in September has been registered under the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) system, which is a unique numeric commercial book identifier system, making the publication accessible to a wider audience.

GFDD Inaugural Press Conference with Members of the New York Area Press
Members of the Spanish-speaking New York metropolitan area press, along with the diplomatic corps, joined Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) executives and staff, for its inaugural press conference. The focus of the press conference was to bring to light the Foundation’s work. The event, which included brunch, was held at the Roger Smith Hotel in Manhattan.
