  • Latin Ex-Presidents Unite to Discuss Public Leadership and Latin America’s Critical Role in the World’s Sustainable Development

    The former President of the Dominican Republic and honorary President of  Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and its sister organization in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), Dr. Leonel Fernández, participated in an Inter-American seminar on public leadership, together with a large group of former Latin American presidents and senior officials from the State Department of the United States of America, as well as
    representatives of cooperation agencies, academics and entrepreneurs.

  • GFDD and FUNGLODE Participate in DFFNY Press Conference

    On June 13, at Claro Negro Lounge in Upper Manhattan, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) participated in a press conference in the event of the Dominican Film Festival in New York (DFFNY). The Festival that will be held from June 26-30, 2013 at the Alumni Auditorium, Columbia University Medical Center, New York City, and is in part made possible through the collaboration and support of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development.

  • Ambassador of El Salvador Featured Guest in GFDD’s June Global Roundtable

    Carlos Enrique García González, Permanent Representative of El Salvador to the United Nations, has accepted GFDD’s invitation to participate in the seventeenth edition of its online broadcasting program series “Global Roundtable,” to be held in the Foundation’s New York office on July 1, 2013.

  • Summer 2013 InteRDom Interns Conclude Orientation Week

    InteRDom is proud to announce the completion of an exciting and successful orientation week for the Summer 2013 InteRDom interns in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. During the week of June 3, 2013, InteRDom welcomed nine students hailing from the United States and Europe, who spent the week preparing for their internships, research, academic studies and cultural excursions in which they will participate this summer.
