Screening of Environmental Documentary The Polar Explorer
As part of the follow up to the I Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF), which took place last September, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), in partnership with its sister institution in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracy and Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will present a screening of the documentary film The Polar Explorer, followed by a discussion session with scientist and director Mark Terry.

GFDD Publications Now Available on Amazon
GFDD’s acclaimed books New Perspectives: Dominican Republic and Dominican and Environmental Encyclopedic Dictionary of the Environment are now available for sale on Amazon. Until recently, the books had been sold on a limited basis at GFDD and FUNGLODE events. Exposure on Amazon will undoubtedly help to secure new markets for both publications. Proceeds from all sales will go towards financing GFDD programs and projects.
