Audience Experiences the High Life at Dominican Get-togethers in the Big Apple
November’s chilly night air was offset by mounting anticipation at Global Foundation for Democracy and Development’s (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), 4th Dominican Get-Together in the Big Apple. The audience would be hearing from people who had literally been at the top of the world, a feat that many of us could not even fathom and only a mere handful (less than 300) have ever accomplished.

GFDD Inaugural Press Conference with Members of the New York Area Press
Members of the Spanish-speaking New York metropolitan area press, along with the diplomatic corps, joined Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) executives and staff, for its inaugural press conference. The focus of the press conference was to bring to light the Foundation’s work. The event, which included brunch, was held at the Roger Smith Hotel in Manhattan.

GFDD and FUNGLODE Introduce the New Educational Portal of the Ibero-American Educational and Cultural Television (TEIb) Program
The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), (Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), the Ibero-American Association of Educational Television (ATEI), and the Ministry of Education (MINERD) presented the new portal of the Ibero-American Educational and Cultural Television (TEIb ), at FUNGLODE headquarters in Santo Domingo.

GFDD and FUNGLODE preferred candidates as strategic partners of the recently created EU-LAC Foundation
GFDD’s Washington, DC director, Asuncion Sanz, represented GFDD and FUNGLODE at the October 14 Senior Officers Meeting (SOM) of the EU-LAC and made a presentation for its candidacy to become one of the two strategic partners for LAC at the EU-LAC Foundation.
