Closing of Seventh Conference Dominican Republic Model United Nations in New York (NYDRMUN 2011)
The United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR), in collaboration with Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), and its sister institution in the US, the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), formally closed its Seventh Conference Dominican Republic Model United Nations in New York (NYDRMUN 2011) at the GA, UN Headquarters in New York City.

With the participation of more than 700 middle school and high school Dominican and foreign students, the Dominican Association of the United Nations (UNA-DR), in collaboration with Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), and its sister institution in New York, the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), formally opened the Seventh Conference Dominican Republic Model United Nations in New York (NYDRMUN 2011).

Despite the torrential rain, Saturday´s premiere of “Dominican Get-Togethers in the Big Apple” was a smashing success. People, young and old, from all over the city, including New Jersey, streamed into School of Visual Arts where they rubbed shoulders with several of professional baseball´s most legendary players.
