On October 30th, after a great learning experience for participants, the 8th edition of the InteRDom Conference, “Millenials in the Workplace.” came to a close. The two-day conference included a keynote address and two workshops on the topic of Millennials– or Generation Y– given by Rachel Reiser, international researcher and founder of the company Generationally Speaking.

Leonel Fernández negotiates Agreement with the New York Presbyterian Hospital to Benefit Medical Students and Professionals
The former Dominican President and honorary President of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), Dr. Leonel Fernández, visited Columbia University’s Presbyterian Hospital, to begin laying the groundwork with its authorities for the signing of an inter-agency exchange agreement that would benefit medical students and professionals from both the Dominican Republic and the United States.

Summer 2013 InteRDom Interns Conclude Orientation Week
InteRDom is proud to announce the completion of an exciting and successful orientation week for the Summer 2013 InteRDom interns in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. During the week of June 3, 2013, InteRDom welcomed nine students hailing from the United States and Europe, who spent the week preparing for their internships, research, academic studies and cultural excursions in which they will participate this summer.

As a continuation of their outreach to New York-area based students and universities, InteRDom Internships in the Dominican Republic is excited to be participating in the 2013 Summer & Fall Internship Fair at The New School in New York City on April 25, 2013. The fair is hosted by The New School’s Office of Career Development and is located at the Theresa Lang Center on the 2nd Floor.
