GFDD and FUNGLOD Hold Discussion on First US Presidential Debate
Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo and Global Foundation for Democracy and Development held a joint program September 30, 2004 around the first U.S. presidential debate. Former ambassadors, historian Bernardo Vega, and political science specialist, Flavio Darío Espinal were the guest panelists in Santo Domingo.

Participation of the Dominican Republic at the Inter-American Seminar on Education for Democracy
Following its commitment to the development of civil society and civic education, FUNGLODE/GFDD took part in the Inter-American Seminar on Education for Democracy that took place in Washington, DC, September 20-23, 2004. The Seminar was hosted by the Organization of American States, OAS, and the Center for Civic Education.
