    During InteRDom’s Annual Review, an event organized yearly by Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), which seeks to elicit debate concerning global trends in the areas of training, management and human resource development, Jorge Chávez, Professional Training Director, Servicio Nacional de Adiestramiento en Trabajo Industrial (National Service of Industrial Job Training) in Peru, discussed the ways in which
    corporations and organizations can benefit from internship programs.

  • Inauguration of Sixth Annual Dominican Republic Model United Nations

    Today, March 13, 2008, over 500 high school and college students, as well as teachers and professors, from the Dominican Republic, the United States and the region assembled at Fordham University in New York City to celebrate the inauguration of the Sixth Annual Dominican Republic Model United Nations (NYDRMUN), organized by the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR), in collaboration with Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación
    Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE).

  • DRGFF Attends the 25th Edition of the Miami International Film Festival (MIFF)

    This year, for the second time, staff members of the Dominican Republic Global Film Festival (DRGFF), an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) joined the participants of the MIFF from February 28 – March 9, 2008, in Miami, Florida, in order to continue building a solid network of film industry professionals and identify potential panelists and films for the upcoming 2008 edition of the
    DRGFF.
