  • Dominican Companies Are Inviting Their Employees to the Movies

    With just one click, Dominican companies can buy tickets online and invite their employees to experience the II Dominican Global Film Festival (DRGFF), taking place from November 18-23. Regardless of the company or organization’s size, the Festival has something for everyone. Small companies with just 2 or 3 employees, medium-size groups or companies with over a hundred employees will all enjoy the selection of films being presented at the Festival.

  • Second Dominican Global Film Festival Begins Volunteer Recruitment

    The selection process for volunteers to help with the organization and development of the Dominican Global Film Festival will get underway on Monday, October 27, in order to prepare for the Festival, which will take place November 19-23, 2008. Meetings with those wishing to join the Festival Volunteer Staff will be held in the five cities hosting the festival: Santo Domingo, Santiago, Puerto Plata, Higüey and Nagua.

  • InteRDom Attends Part-Time Job and Internship Fair at Dowling College

    On Wednesday, October 22, InteRDom participated in Dowling College’s annual Part-Time Job and Internship Fair at Dowling’s Rudolph Campus in Oakdale, New York. At the fair, students had the opportunity to talk with InteRDom representatives about the program and learn of the internship opportunities available to them both in semester and summer programs.

  • GFDD and FUNGLODE Participate in 2008 Florida Media Market Conference

    In order to promote the 2008 Dominican Republic Global Film Festival (DRGFF) and the Global Media Arts Institute (GMAI), Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) participated in the Florida Media Market’s 3rd Annual Gateway to World Media Conference 2008, October 23-26, at the Alexander Resort in Miami Beach, Florida.

  • Over 1,500 Dominican and International Students Attend CILA 2008

    More than 1,500 young people from the Dominican Republic, Latin America and other countries around the world participated in the IV International Conference of the Americas (CILA) organized by the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR), Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), which concluded on October 19.

  • Second Dominican Republic Global Film Festival Holds Presentation Event in Santiago

    The Second Dominican Republic Global Film Festival – an initiative of the Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) and the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) – was launched today among a small group of media directors and journalists in Santiago at a cocktail party in the Gran Theater of Cibao.

  • InteRDom Will Participate in Part-Time Job & Internship Fair

    The internship program InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will participate in the “Part-Time Job & Internship Fair” at Dowling College on October 22, 2008.
