Photography Exhibit New Perspectives: Dominican Republic Commences Dominican Independence Celebrations
The New Perspectives:Dominican Republic Photo Exhibition opened at Plaza Loreto, in Mexico City’s Federal District on February 27, 2014. The event, organized by Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), in collaboration with the Dominican Embassy in Mexico, honored Dominican Independence Day celebrations.

GFDD Short Film Wins Best Documentary at the 2014 Green Lens Environmental Film Festival
GFDD received recognition at the Green Lens Environmental Film Festival 24-27 February 2014, where its short film “Garbage or Resource? A Dominican Republic Experience,” an official selection of this year’s festival won the Best Documentary Category.

Photography Exhibit New Perspectives: Dominican Republic to be Inaugurated by Dominican Embassy in Mexico, Marking DR Independence Day Celebrations
New Perspectives: Dominican Republic Photo Exhibit, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development, opens in Mexico on February 27, 2014 and remains on display until the end of March. Plaza Loreto, a new development in Mexico City’s Federal District will house the exhibit, showcasing 13 striking images of the Dominican landscape captured from the air.

Announcing the Global Dominican Academic Exchange Program Transnational Law Program at University of Georgia School of Law
The Global Dominican Academic Exchange Program is thrilled to announce it will be recruiting Dominican law students and young professionals to participate in the Transnational Law Program at the University of Georgia (UGA) School of Law, from April 13-23, 2014, in Athens, Georgia.
