Global Dominican Academic Exchange Program Participants Form New Friendships at National Dominican Student Conference
More than 500 attendees came together from March 27-30 at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts for the largest National Dominican Student Conference (NDSC) in its 8-year history, and for the first time students from the Dominican Republic participated in the conference via the Global Dominican Academic Exchange Program (GDAE).

At the end of March, the GFDD Global Roundtable will be hosting noted oceans expert and longtime grantee of the National Geographic Expeditions Council, Jon Bowermaster to discuss the importance of banning natural gas exploitation through hydraulic fracturing (or fracking – the controversial process of extracting natural gas from shale rock layers deep within the earth).
