  • Global Foundation for Democracy and Development Delegation Attends OAS Hemispheric Forum

    GFDD and FUNGLODE Directors Semiramis de Miranda and Yamile Eusebio had the opportunity to contribute on behalf of the Foundations to the 11th Hemispheric Forum with Civil Society and Social Actors at the Organization of American States (OAS) during the working groups regarding the preparation of the recommendations document to be submitted to the OAS General Secretariat.

    On April 23, the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development, in collaboration with the Dominican Mission to the UN, and with the support from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), Committee on NGO’s (CoNGO), and the Earth Day Network, hosted the New York Film Premiere of Jon Bowermaster’s latest film: On the Edge, Antarctica.

  • GFDD’s ReCrearte program celebrates its most successful month to date

    Since the program’s inception, GFDD has been able to engage individuals across the country to rethink their conception of trash, raising environmental awareness while promoting the sustainable use of natural resources through the 3’Rs of proper solid waste disposal: reduce, reuse and recycle.
