  • GFDD Initiates 2013’s School and Community Garden Program

    On Saturday January 12, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development’s initiative, Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF) will launch its 2013 School and Community Garden Program with a workshop and creation of a vegetable garden at the Rene Descartes School in Bani. Subsequent garden workshops will be conducted on January 14th, 18th and 19th at the Fray Ramon Panes School, Barreras Primary and Middle
    School, La Nueva Esperanza Women’s Association, and Canada School, respectively.

  • UNADR Opens the 2013 MODOSI and NYDRMUN

    On Friday, November 30th, the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNADR), in association with Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) and its sister organization in the United States, the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), officially launched the third annual Dominican Model of the Inter-American System (MODOSI 2013) and the ninth annual edition of the Dominican Model of the United Nations in New York (NYDRMUN 2013).
