  • International Week on Climate Change at FUNGLODE

    The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), and the Dominican Chapter of the International Center for Environmental and Sustainable Development Studies (CIEMADeS), will be hosting various events concerning climate change, May 21-24, 2007, at FUNGLODE’s headquarters in Santo Domingo.

  • GFDD Launches Its New Website

    In response to its program expansion and website visitor feedback, The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) has reengineered and revamped its website. While in line with its original design, the site has undergone a digital facelift.

  • InteRDom Student of the Month: Jill Brumier

    Jill Brumier is an International Law student at Paris II in France. She has spent the last three months in the Dominican Republic, as part of an exchange program with her university, and has also been carrying-out an internship at the National Commission for Commercial Exchange.

  • “How to Write Scripts”

    Global Foundation for Democracy and Development and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo, in coordination with the Franklin Institute of the United State’s Embassy in the Dominican Republic and the National Film Direction, are hosting the second workshop on the art of script writing.

  • DPI/ NGO Briefing

    GFDD/FUNGLODE attended the United Nations’ briefing: “Encouraging Creativity.” The briefing was held April 26, 2007, at the Dag Hammarskjold Library Auditorium, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

  • Responding to the Climate Crisis: Asking the Right Questions

    Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) participated in the World Information Transfer, Inc.’s 16th International Conference: “Responding to the Climate Crisis: Asking the Right Questions” organized by World Information Transfer, Inc. (WIT), in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Government of Ukraine, the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations, the UNDP, the UNEP, and UNICEF.

  • Seventh Introductory Computer Course

    Global Foundation for Democracy and Development/ Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo, in collaboration with the NGO Alliance and the Technological Institute of the Americas, are offering a new course on introductory computer usage to non-governmental organizations.
