Leonel Fernández signs collaboration agreement with Emirates Policy Center
The agreement provides for cooperation between Funglode and the EPC on field investigations, academic exchanges, and joint sponsorship of events promoting connections between Latin America and the Caribbean and the Arab Gulf states. Signing on behalf of the EPC was its president, Dr. Ebtesam Al-Ketbi.

The Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF) and the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (FUNIBER) hosted a lecture on sustainable development. The event was held at the Barceló Hotel in Santo Domingo with approximately 100 people in attendance.

the goals of which include promoting a culture that encourages the proper management and use of natural resources in Dominican society.
