The six participating professors and administrators met with InteRDom representatives individually to discuss all that they had seen over the past three days, and the best ways that the program can serve them and their students going forward.

GFDD and FUNGLODE will Deliver Intervention during High-Level Meeting of ECOSOC with the Bretton Woods Institutions, the WTO and UNCTAD
For the second time, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) have been invited by the NGO Committee for Financing for Development to deliver an intervention during the 2012 High-Level Meeting of the Economic and Social Council with the Bretton Woods Institutions, the World Trade Organization and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, “Coherence, coordination and cooperation in the context of
Financing for Development,” scheduled to take place March 12-13, at United Nations headquarters in New York City. GFDD and FUNGLODE will contribute to thematic debate 2: “Financing for sustainable development.”

InteRDom Attends Non-Profit, Education, and Healthcare Career Fair at New York University
InteRDom continued to cultivate its budding relationship with New York University on Thursday, March 8 with its participation in the 2012 Non-profit, Education and Healthcare Career Fair, hosted by the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development, which services students in all NYU graduate and undergraduate degree programs.

Screening of Environmental Documentary The Polar Explorer
As part of the follow up to the I Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF), which took place last September, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), in partnership with its sister institution in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracy and Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will present a screening of the documentary film The Polar Explorer, followed by a discussion session with scientist and director Mark Terry.
