  • GFDD and FUNGLODE Will Partner with PADF and World Wide Views to Convene Dominican Chapter of Citizen Dialogue on Biodiversity

    Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), together with its sister institution in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will partner with the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and World Wide Views to convene the Dominican chapter of the Citizen Dialogue on Biodiversity. The event will be celebrated during the initiative “World Wide Views on Biodiversity,” organized by the Technology Council of Denmark, with support from
    the United Nations Convention on Biodiversity.

    The international forum on integrating technology and innovation in higher education and professional training convened representatives from the following institutions: Ministerio de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología (MESCYT), Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), Universidad Abierta Para Adultos (UAPA), Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Instituto Tecnológico de las Américas (ITLA), Fundación Global Democracia y
    Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), Alianza ONG, Fundación Sur Futuro, Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), Fundación Estrella, Fundación Cisneros, and Microsoft, among others.

  • UNA-DR Inaugurates the Second Dominican Conference of the Inter-American System Model

    On February 8, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), in partnership with its sister institution in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), the Dominican Republic Association of the United Nations (UNA-DR) and the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Youth Outreach and Development Program of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) celebrated the inauguration of the Second Dominican Model of the Inter-American System
    (MODOSI 2012) at the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic’s Jesús María Troncoso Auditorium.

  • GFDD Will Represent Virtual Educa Caribe at Virtual Educa 2012 in Suriname

    Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) will attend Virtual Educa 2012 to be celebrated in Suriname, February 29-March 2, 2012. Global Foundation for Democracy and Development will be representing Virtual Educa Caribe’s six years of experience in education, training and innovation.
