GFDD and FUNGLODE Partner with OAS Art Museum of the Americas Exhibit: On Common Ground: Dominican Republic and Haiti
As part of its commitment to support and publicize the goals and programs of the Organization of American States (OAS) and in partnership with the Embassies of the Dominican Republic and Haiti in Washington, D.C., GFDD and FUNGLODE is pleased to present On Common Ground: Dominican Republic and Haiti.

GFDD and FUNGLODE Will Partner with PADF and World Wide Views to Convene Dominican Chapter of Citizen Dialogue on Biodiversity
Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), together with its sister institution in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will partner with the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and World Wide Views to convene the Dominican chapter of the Citizen Dialogue on Biodiversity. The event will be celebrated during the initiative “World Wide Views on Biodiversity,” organized by the Technology Council of Denmark, with support from
the United Nations Convention on Biodiversity.

GFDD and FUNGLODE Will Partner with PADF and World Wide Views to Convene Dominican Chapter of Citizen Dialogue on Biodiversity to Contribute to COP-11 Meeting in Hyderbad, India
On Saturday, September 15, 2012, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) will partner with the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and World Wide Views to convene the Dominican meeting of the global event, “World Wide Views on Biodiversity.” The purpose of the project is to promote dialogue on the decline of biodiversity and the importance of effective policy among citizens worldwide.

Dr. Leonel Fernández, President of GFDD and FUNGLODE, to Deliver Keynote Address at Sixteenth Annual CAF Conference in Washington DC, Hosted by the CAF Development Bank of Latin America, the OAS and the Inter-American Dialogue
On Wednesday, September 5, Dr. Leonel Fernández, President of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) and Former President of the Dominican Republic, will deliver the keynote address during the Sixteenth Annual CAF Conference, hosted by the CAF Development Bank of Latin America, the Organization of American States and the Inter-American Dialogue.

UNA-DR Inaugurates the Second Dominican Conference of the Inter-American System Model
On February 8, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), in partnership with its sister institution in the Dominican Republic, Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), the Dominican Republic Association of the United Nations (UNA-DR) and the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Youth Outreach and Development Program of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) celebrated the inauguration of the Second Dominican Model of the Inter-American System
(MODOSI 2012) at the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic’s Jesús María Troncoso Auditorium.

GFDD Will Represent Virtual Educa Caribe at Virtual Educa 2012 in Suriname

GFDD and FUNGLODE Endorses Organization of American States (OAS) Scholarship Program Offering Opportunities for Master’s Studies in Brazil
The OAS Department of Human Development, Education and Culture has announced its new “OAS Scholarships Program – Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities”, through which up to 50 scholarships are being offered for Master’s studies at Brazilian universities.
