  • 2007 International Conference of the Americas

    During the opening ceremony of CILA 2007 Master of Ceremonies, Crisermy Mercado; Secretary General, Diana Zuluaga; Executive Director of the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-RD), Pilar Sandoval; and FUNGLODE General Director, Frederic Eman-Zadé, welcomed the more than 1,500 individuals that participated in the event.

    Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) and the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR) participated in the 60th Annual United Nations Department of Public Information and Non-Governmental Organizations Conference that took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, September 5-7, 2007.

  • Global Leadership Awards Gala

    Dr. Leonel Fernández, President of the Dominican Republic and Honorary President of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will be honored at Counterpart International’s Global Leadership Awards Gala, September 19, 2007 at Gustavino’s in New York City.

  • More than 1,500 Students Will Participate in CILA 2007

    Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) and the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (ANU-RD) will organize the 2007 International Conference on the Americas (CILA).

  • Closing Ceremony for InteRDom Students

    The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), together with its sister organization in the Dominican Republic Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will host the InteRDom Closing Ceremony August 9, 2007.
